Ontology to Join Hashport’s Accelerator Program
Ontology are happy to announce that we have joined Hashport’s Accelerator Program. As Japan’s leading accelerator, our partnership aims to expedite Ontology’s development in the Japanese market with Hashport. Through our partnership, HashPort will serve as Ontology’s liaison in Japan and provide us with their expertise in localization support, including assisting with listing Ontology on cryptocurrency exchanges and finding suitable partners for future collaboration.
Speaking about the announcement, Andy JI, Ontology’s Co-Founder, made the following comment:
The HashPort team has ample experience in the field of project incubation and market consulting for the Japanese market, which will help to further promote Ontology to traditional businesses. This will contribute to accelerate the blockchain transformation of the Japanese domestic market. At Ontology, we attach great importance to the Japanese market, and we hope to cooperate closely with more Japanese companies, communities, and technology developers through this partnership.
Regarding the partnership, Hashport’s Founder, Seihaku Yoshida, had this to say:
I am very pleased to work with Ontology as the second phase of the HashPort Accelerator program. The theme of this second term is “maturity” and “practice”. With a strong need for digital transformation using blockchain technology in Japan and the ongoing studies of blockchain in industries following policy changes in China, there has been a “mature” ecosystem and a growing need for a “practical” blockchain platform within the business not limited to PoC in the world. Ontology has a “matured” team, ecosystem, and solutions based on their long history. Their technology has already been put into “practice” in both business and public systems with more than a hundred dApps developers. I am convinced that the spread of the Ontology project in Japan will lead to further acceleration of updating the entire Japanese social and economic system using blockchain technology. This is also HashPort’s mission. I will make every effort to help the Ontology project bloom in Japan under the HashPort Accelerator team’s guidance.
